43 Things About Me :)

1. I will never be described as athletic.

2. I met my husband when we were both 17.

3. My first kiss was from my dear X-BF? Oscar 3rd.

4. I am the only child. But Bratt , I'm not.

5. My favorite food, anything that is cheezy. Luke-warm. Hot. Stone-cold, straight from the fridge first thing in the morning. Mmm. Yes, please.

6. I sleep well in the dark - Dark-ish is nice. But if I can't see my hand in front of my face, it's too darn dark.

7. I order the exact same thing every time at each of our favorite restaurants and I ate siomai for two weeks for my lunch.

8. I disarranged things every now and then. I can stand with the change!

9. We have a daughter, Ora. We first held her when she was 5 hours old. She is the light of our life - such a cheerful, fun, spunky, life-loving little girl.

10. I had our little boy after my 5th day stay in the hospital. He was calm and all day-night-quiet-type-angel-dear. In our sadness, he showed us his laughters.

11. I played banduria & Banjo way back in my childhood and teenage years. I don't have this blessing to continue concentrating my efforts on this thing.

12. I had 3 dogs (askals) all named "jaguar". And all died after the other.

13. Patience is not my virtue. (...Respectful Pause.) My daughter perhaps got this from me.

14. I don't play with barbies.

15. My hunky hubby is a site engineer. He is hands-down the smartest person I know!

16. My father call me Inday. My mom Adang. My husband B. Ora don't call me mama.

17. I am a worrier but I learned not to be as influenced by my husband.

18. My bestfriend is the guy I dated 3 years in college to this day. Techinically, he is my husband and still dating with him.

19. My family is beautiful, the perfect family I had been dreaming of since I was a little girl.

20. I love music. It calms me down; it fills my senses. It makes me see the beauty in things around me. I enjoy almost all types, with the exception of rap.

21. Ora is hilaroius. This is the only girl who would bully older than her age at 2. And this is the sweetest girl I know when reprimanded would give you a hug after she goes wild and she kiss you many times on lips!

22. Ora is extremely smart (a bit too smart at times, in my opinion). She explores things on her own. But won't listen when she teaches you something.

23. I am flat 5!!! Nothing-more!!!

24. I am afraid of clowns. Their noses are always overly red and their eyes are wild.

25. I love to take baths to relax. I take a bath day and night. Even I'm having fever. I don't go to work without a bath. A warm bath. A good bath. Bubbles. Ahh. Life is good again.

26. I am a lyric-oriented person. Good words to a song instantly affect me and really stick in my head. I can mull them over for days. However, when I don't know the lyrics to a song, I just sing what they sound like to me.

27. Quad is a talk-kind-of-guy. At 2 months old he could answer you in words when asked: " Sino baby na pogi"" He would say "aaak-uh". One of my favorite things why I love this boy.

28. One for my favorite movie of all time, was One More Chance. This is the only movie I cried-out-loud with my college buddies matching the bully men at our back.

29. I love scary movies.

30. I get embarrassed pretty easily and my face gets really hot and flushes bright red.

31. I have a super sensitive nose. Good smells, bad smells - I'm aware of them all, to a bizarre, police dog-sniffer degree. I have this drug nose! So I know if your trying to hide when you smoke.

32. Smells I like? My husband’s dark temptation deo, the smell of shea butter, and my baby's powder.

33. I can dance. Oscar just don't know about it.

34. I shake a lot when taking anesthesia.

35. I wrote my graduation speech and it gives so much pressure to me.

36. I am deathly afraid of the dentist. Even the sounds and smells, while I'm sitting out in the waiting room, are enough to induce nausea and make me break into a cold sweat. So I visited a dentist just twice in my life.

37. I always have asthma attack when going home and when I know a heavy rain is about to pour down.

38. Ora and Quad's laughter is infectious. After a long, hard day, you can't help but feel better when you hear their giggles, or better yet, hear their deep belly-laugh. It is the funniest thing ever - and it makes you have to laugh right along with them!

39. I love getting pedicures and I love my feet! But I love my shoes more!

40. I believe that children are a gift from God. He gives them to us for a short time to love, to protect, to guide, to learn from, to laugh with, and most importantly, to teach about Him.

41. My mother named me Olivia but because of her risky pregnancy at 41 she had no idea about my Aunts thoughts. Then she found out they named me Bernadette.
42. Math is not my strength. Another giant understatement. I mean, I can add, but that's about the extent of... yeah, okay. But I had a high score in my licensure exam in Math! Ironic!

43. The great thing about being married to someone who is your opposite is that you help balance each other out. Oscar's strengths are my weaknesses, and vice versa. He helps to ground me and keep me calm, and I make him laugh. We fill in each other’s gaps and allow the other to appreciate the world through different eyes.

Quad’s 5th month!

I have a little person watching my every move, waiting to cheer and laugh and dance around the living room. And that just makes the accomplishments all the more fulfilling.

You are getting so big!!! Look at those cheeks! You drink more or less 10 bottles a day and you go wild if we just leave you in your crib.

We love you to pieces Quad!

Xoxo!

Child Safety Card For My Super Two!

I appreciate the most that it's very important to keep safety cards for your kids. We once went to a park to celebrate one big occassion here in Davao. Streets were busy, and the crowd grows more each and every minute. Ora plays a lot, and would go wherever she wants without looking back but thanks I had my company ID with me Ora could wear. And so the next time we will be out, they have now their own safety cards! Credits to me as always!
